A woman discovers that her husband is cheating on her by talking to the husband of the woman he is cheating with.
A wife who was betrayed by her husband recently shared her story on Reddit’s “Off My Chest” subreddit. She found out about the affair when a lawyer called and told her.
The lawyer was representing the husband of the woman her husband cheated with. The husband of her husband’s mistress had contracted a private operative to find evidence of his wife’s infidelity.
Her post on this issue instantly went viral, with 18.2K upvotes from the Reddit community and hundreds of comments of support and advice.
When a solicitor contacted her, Reddit user “anoncheatedthrowra” from Ireland was initially confused, as she explained in a post on the “Off My Chest” forum.
“I received a call from a solicitor yesterday morning,” she wrote. “I was confused because I don’t have any need for one.” she said
That’s when she received the news that would change her life. She told me that her client is seeking a divorce from his wife due to the wife having an affair.
The client’s investigator found that the affair is with my husband and the client asked the solicitor to inform me. She provided me with proof of the affair.
To make issues more alarming, the woman explained that her brother-in-law will soon be wedding and her husband is there already to serve as the best man.
“My brother-in-law is to be married on Saturday. My husband is the best man and is already there to assist with everything,” she wrote.
She said she was set to leave on Friday morning to meet up with them and her five-month-old daughter. She said her husband doesn’t know that she is aware of the affair. And she said she is astonished — but the confirmation is right in front of her.
The woman then described what she intends to do next after discovering this heartbreaking news.
According to her plans, She hasn’t told anyone but she has asked her sister to come over after work. She’s going to ask if her daughter and she can stay with her. She doesn’t think she can face him at the wedding. She doesn’t want to hear excuses.
She added that though Her sister’s husband is a solicitor and does not do divorce cases she will ask if he can recommend someone.”
