A graduate student at Washington State University has been arrested in connection with the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students last month. Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was taken into custody in Pennsylvania on Thursday and will be extradited to Idaho to face first-degree murder and burglary charges.

Authorities have not yet released a motive for the killings of Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, and Xana Kernodle, which took place inside a rental home in Moscow, Idaho on November 13th. Kohberger is due in court in Pennsylvania on Tuesday with a public defender.

The arrest brings some relief to the community and the families of the victims, who have been on edge since the murders took place.
