During an episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, Joe Jonas, one-third of the Jonas Brothers band, revealed that he felt intense jealousy when his brother Nick Jonas was chosen as a coach for NBC’s The Voice. Joe admitted that he cried when he found out the news while attending a Fleetwood Mac show at Madison Square Garden. Although he expressed happiness for Nick, Joe also confessed his disappointment because he wanted the gig for himself.
Kevin Jonas, the eldest brother, chimed in and mentioned that Joe had previously served as a judge on the Australian version of The Voice for one season in 2018.
