A: Have children
See The Reason for That answer below:
The government of Sichuan province in China is loosening restrictions on family planning by allowing unmarried individuals to raise a family and receive benefits typically reserved for married couples. With a decline in both marriage and birth rates, the province is revising its 2019 rule to cover single individuals who wish to have children. Starting on February 15, both married couples and unmarried individuals will be able to register with the government and there will be no limit on the number of children they can register. This move aims to “promote long-term and balanced population development,” according to the Sichuan health commission.
The registry system, which provides maternity insurance and salary protection during maternity leave, was previously only available to married couples with a maximum of two children. With China’s population declining for the first time in 60 years, the government is implementing measures to increase its population. The demographic decline is largely attributed to the one-child policy that was in place from 1980 to 2015.
